Afternoon Tea
The weather was perfect, a bit windy, but a really clear blue sky which meant that we had the most amazing views of the Thames valley from halfway up Richmond Hill. To make it even better, we were offered a table on the terrace, out of the wind, so could enjoy the weather and the views from the open, much more 'us'.
I was so pleased with the Tea and how we were looked after, not too much attention, but just enough. Perfect.

Five Things I am Loving This Friday
So here we go, Five Things I am Loving This Friday:
- that there is a Public Holiday to celebrate The Man's birthday. OK, I know this is not the real reason, but it is the best reason I can think of
- that after weeks of good weather, today was not the day that we had rain; I think a certain couple will be pleased, as will a few thousand people attending a certain event
- that my printer has started to work properly again
- Nails Inc Nail Varnish - a lot!!
- that I am a Royalist and proud of it

Easter Sunday BBQ
Last night, however, was dry and sunny and warm, so we broke out the disposable BBQ and some kebabs and we were away. Add a couple of chilled beers and heaven was not far away.
Perfect.
One of our neighbours poked his head over the fence to see what was going on, very cute but I missed the photo, just a head and his front paws (didn't I mention he is a cat?).

The view from a moving train
This picture looks a little hazy, but that is due to it being taken from a moving train with far from clean windows. What it is actually showing is that really sift light you tend to get early in the morning of a very hot day. We will see.
On a personal note, I just want to get through the day as quickly as possible so that I can enjoy the long weekend. So here's to a busy, and therefore, short day.

Is this our summer?
I for one hope it is the latter. We had a tough winter, so here's hoping for a great summer to compensate.
